As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building relationships, identifying business opportunities, and contributing directly to company growth.

Role Overview As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, generating qualified sales opportunities, and supporting the sales pipeline from initial outreach through lead qualification. You will work closely with the sales and leadership teams to develop new business opportunities while representing Cloud Science Labs professionally in every interaction. This is a performance-driven role that offers significant opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify prospective clients across target industries. Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other outreach channels. Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs and fit. Schedule discovery meetings and sales calls for senior sales consultants. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools. Develop personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential customers. Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales cycle. Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and opportunities within the CRM. Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on lead generation initiatives. Stay informed about Salesforce, AI technologies, cloud solutions, and industry trends. Meet or exceed individual activity and pipeline generation targets. Represent Cloud Science Labs with professionalism and integrity during all client interactions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Highly organized with strong time management skills. Comfortable conducting outbound prospecting and cold outreach. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Willingness to learn new technologies and sales methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, SDR, or BDR roles. Experience selling technology, SaaS, IT services, or consulting solutions. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or other CRM platforms. Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem, AI solutions, or cloud technologies. Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools.
