The** Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese ** (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. ABOUT

Immaculate Conception School is a small Catholic elementary school which has been serving the Dunbar area on the west side of Vancouver since 1926. We are a close-knit community whose mission is to help students develop a personal relationship with God by recognizing each child’s strengths and fostering growth in the knowledge and skills necessary for life-long learning. We offer extra-curricular activities and outreach opportunities that give students and teachers alike a wide variety of experiences. JOB DESCRIPTION

Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Vancouver is seeking a Grade Four teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be committed to students’ faith development, be open to learning about the B.C. curriculum and participating in ongoing professional development and have effective classroom management practices. In addition, he or she will enjoy working as part of a team and be willing to contribute to extra-curricular programs in the school.

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
