Position Overview:
We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable Workstation Audit & Deployment Technicians to support a short-term project involving the audit and remediation of approximately 450 user workstations. Technicians will be responsible for checking, documenting, and ensuring that all workstation peripherals align with standardized models, replacing hardware as necessary, and performing proper cable management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit workstations to verify the functionality and condition of monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, and cables.
- Ensure all peripherals conform to standardized models.
- Replace and deploy approved equipment as required.
- Reconnect all peripherals and neatly tie and organize cables.
- Test and validate that all components are functioning correctly after replacement/setup.
- Maintain accurate records of workstation audit results, issues, and completed work.
- Report any escalated issues or non-standard configurations to the project lead.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience in IT support, deskside support, or hardware deployment.
- Strong technical knowledge of PC peripherals (monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice).
- Ability to perform cable management to a professional standard.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
