Position Overview

Are you passionate about making a lasting impact on newcomers’ lives? As a Settlement Intake & Support Worker, you’ll be the first point of contact for individuals accessing essential IRCC-funded services, helping them navigate settlement processes, overcome barriers, and build a bright future. By conducting needs assessments and developing personalized settlement plans, you'll provide vital support to ensure fair and equitable access to resources. If you're committed to inclusivity, accessibility, and culturally responsive service delivery, we want you on our team!

Reporting to the Program Manager, the selected candidate will conduct initial screenings and intake for IRCC-funded services, ensuring privacy compliance while informing clients of their rights and responsibilities. The SISW will assess clients’ settlement needs with a strengths-based approach, create tailored settlement plans, and provide appropriate referrals. With a focus on accessibility, they will offer both in-person and virtual services, use AI-powered interpretation tools, and remove barriers to service access. The SISW will maintain accurate client records, prepare reports, and apply GBA+ principles to ensure equitable service delivery. Additionally, they will contribute to organizational development and continuous service improvement through active participation in professional development activities.
