About your team:
You will join a team of 3 people, working exclusively on PLEXIA product. Plexia EMS subsidiary of MEDFAR Clinical Solutions, develops and maintains Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Software and Services for physician practices, medical clinics, and hospitals. Thousands of health professionals in Canada use our product to improve the quality of care provided to their patients.
For more than 10 years, Plexia has been delivering innovative EMR solutions to healthcare providers in Canada. Our dedication to not only streamlining the workflow of a clinic but also increasing the practice’s productivity, has helped us become one of the most prominent EMRs in the industry.
Your role:
The Plexia product development team is looking to both maintain and modernize its product offering by developing new features with modern frontend and backend stacks such as ReactJS and ASP.NET Core.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using a combination of MS SQL, ASP.NET WebForms, .NET Framework/Core, Javascript, CSS, and front-end UI libraries such as ReactJS.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to design and implement scalable, high-quality web applications.

Develop and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and queries using MS SQL.

Maintain and update front-end functionality and user interfaces using ASP.NET WebForms

Develop and maintain new modern front-end functional user interfaces using ReactJS and ASP.NET Core

Conduct comprehensive testing to guarantee seamless operation of applications.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in order to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Fluency in English
- Required: Professional experience with:
- In-depth knowledge of .NET application architecture and C # programming.
- WebForms
- MSSQL or SQL - Proficient in writing efficient queries and working with databases.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of front-end web technologies, particularly Javascript/CSS/HTML - React is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of best security practices for building web-based applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Working conditions:

Contract: Permanent, full-time (40h/week)

Working mode: Hybrid or full remote
- Occasional in-office presence may be required during the year (for events or team meetings, for example).
- Candidates must reside in the province of British-Columbia.
