Position: Pension Administration Analyst Duration: 12 Months (with the possibility of extension) Location: Oakville, ON Work Model: Onsite Pay Rate: CAD 25-30/hr on T4
About Our Client: A leading organization specializing in pension administration and employee benefits, delivering innovative retirement and pension solutions to clients across Canada.
About this Opportunity: On behalf of our client, we're seeking a detail-oriented Pension Administration Analyst to support pension administration activities for defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do: Administer pension-related activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established processes. Support the administration of Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension plans. Analyze pension-related data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel. Maintain and update pension records while ensuring data integrity. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve pension administration inquiries and support ongoing projects. Utilize TELUS Health pension administration solutions, where applicable. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency. Manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
What You Bring: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and support team objectives. Process improvement mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice to Have: Experience administering Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) pension plans. Experience using TELUS Health pension administration solutions. Working knowledge of pension legislation, income tax legislation, and regulatory requirements. Previous experience in pension administration, employee benefits, or financial services.
