Position: Liberal Politics Expert
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $70/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Project-based, flexible commitment (~10–40 hours/week)
Commitment: Fully remote, structured project environment with clear deliverables
Role Responsibilities
- Analyze AI model outputs to identify where reasoning reflects conservative framing, assumptions, or value priors inconsistent with liberal or progressive perspectives
- Provide detailed, evidence-based feedback to ensure liberal political frameworks are represented with nuance, depth, and integrity
- Collaborate with researchers to improve ideological balance and ensure models reason accurately about diverse liberal traditions (e.g., social democracy, progressive thought)
- Contribute to developing internal tools and frameworks for reasoning about equity, justice, democracy, and rights
- Participate in feedback cycles, helping models reason through controversial or complex content with clarity and balance
Ideal Qualifications
- Mastery of liberal political theory, social movements, and reasoning frameworks
- Intellectual background as a political scientist, sociologist, historian, writer, journalist, academic, or analyst specializing in liberal or progressive discourse or movements
- Ability to identify right-leaning or reactionary framings and offer evidence-based corrections
- Exceptional critical thinking, argumentation, and clear writing skills
- Comfort with complex, nuanced, or controversial political subjects
- Demonstrated intellectual integrity and commitment to truth, fairness, and democratic process
