Job Description
Lead the way with your forward thinking. As a Stewarding Manager, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional journey for our large department while being responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order for all of the kitchens, dish areas and related backspaces for our dining outlets and conference centre space.
Competitive Salary: $57,000 - $59,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
Title of the position is Stewarding Manager.
Job Duties Include:

Lead, coach, and inspire a 24-hour stewarding team; conduct audits, performance discussions, and ensure corrective actions are completed while fostering collaboration across departments.

Oversee scheduling (Excel, LMS Watson, Dayforce), procurement, inventory control, and cost management across capital, labor, and operating expenses.

Uphold hygiene and sanitation standards, enforce ALLSAFE health and safety protocols, ensure equipment maintenance, and input repair work orders.

Conduct quarterly china, glassware, and silverware counts, manage supply orders, and track discrepancies.

Monitor employee engagement surveys, implement action plans, and promote professional, sustainable work practices.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:

Proven track record as an administrator, trainer and developer, and a team player with strong communication and organizational skills with all departments.

Demonstrated ability to build a strong Stewarding team through recruitment, training and organization.
-
Proven abilities in attaining targets in all key measurements relating to financials, guest satisfaction, colleague engagement and standards compliance.
-
Proven ability to achieve fiscal targets through implementation of inventory control logistics.
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications.
-
Valid WHMIS Certificate required.
-
Class 5 Driver’s License, with a comfort level driving a company vehicle of up to 1-ton. Must provide an updated drivers abstract.
