You’ll work collaboratively with a team of professionals, managing the performance and risk profile of Bell, balancing the needs of customers, investors and team members with long-term business success. Summary The Internal Audit team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager – Internal Audit to join Bell’s independent assurance function, supporting enterprise-wide risk oversight and assurance through strong business partnerships, advanced audit techniques, and clear, impactful reporting to senior leaders and the Audit Committee.Position Overview
Contribute to the achievement of Bell’s four strategic priorities by providing insights that support effective decision-making, strong controls, and sustainable business performance Support the Audit Committee’s oversight responsibilities by providing independent, risk-based assurance over governance, risk management, internal controls, and the effectiveness of management action plans Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute audit and advisory engagements, with a particular focus on business operations Prepare concise, insightful audit reports and clearly communicate key themes and risk implications to business leaders Promote a client-centric culture to maintain IA’s reputation as trusted business advisors and independent assurance providers Lead practical responsible AI and automation initiatives that improve audit quality, reduce manual effort, and enhance efficiency Use data analytics and technology-enabled audit techniques to identify trends, exceptions, and emerging risks Conduct annual Audit Universe Risk Assessments to identify areas of highest risk for inclusion in the Annual Internal Audit Plan Prepare consolidated reporting on key findings and action plans to Bell’s Executive Management and Audit Committee Monitor and report on the status of audit findings and management action plans to support timely and effective remediation Contribute to thought leadership and continuous improvement of internal audit methodology, processes, and systems Technical Competencies
5+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, controls, compliance, or business advisory Professional accounting, audit or risk designations such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE or CRMA is required Strong knowledge of risk-based auditing, governance, risk management, internal controls, and professional audit standards Experience leading complex audit engagements and managing competing priorities Professional Competencies
Results-oriented high performer Collaborative relationship builder with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop others Proactive, organized, and deadline-driven, with strong project management skills Superior written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear business and risk-based insights Innovative, intellectually curious, and committed to continuous learning Comfortable leveraging productivity technology, including AI, responsibly to enhance audit quality and efficiency Sound professional judgment, with the ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
