POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to join our Commercial Sales Team. Reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in driving specifications and sales across commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills, and a passion for design and construction. You will collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and commercial contractors to position Unilock as the product of choice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets as defined by the Sales Manager

  • Build and maintain relationships with professionals in landscape architecture, architecture, and engineering

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial landscape contractors

  • Deliver compelling presentations to design professionals, developers, and business owners

  • Provide technical support and product recommendations to ensure accurate and appropriate product specifications

  • Collaborate with sales team members to secure product specifications and close sales

  • Track project progress in the Unilock CRM from initial design to final sale and installation

  • Stay current on industry knowledge by attending training, seminars, and industry events

  • Represent Unilock at local trade shows, conferences, and industry functions

  • Perform other duties as required to support the organization’s success

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture (college or university level preferred)

  • Completion of Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) courses: Principles of Construction Documentation and Certified Technical Sales Representative (CTR) (required post-hire)

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced presentation skills an asset

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Valid Ontario driver’s license
