New Home Sales Consultant
As Sales Consultant you will be responsible for the sale of new homes within your designated community. You will provide ongoing customer service to new home buyers and on-site management of assigned staff, sales center(s), model homes, lots and inventory homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Act as the first point of contact, greeting visitors in model homes/sales centers, building rapport, and determining buyer needs.
- Sales Execution: Showcase floor plans, model homes, and development sites to prospective buyers.
- Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Actively prospects for new leads through networking, referrals, and realtors, while providing consistent follow-up on inquiries.
- Contract Management: Guide buyers through the purchase process, including selecting upgrades, reviewing contracts, and finalizing sales agreements.
- Market Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape, community features, pricing, and local market trends.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- 3+ years new home sales experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field (an asset)
- New home industry experience (an asset)
- Strong sense of social perceptiveness and emotional intelligence
- Professional & effective communication skills (Bilingualism an asset).
- Passion for excellence in customer experience delivery.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, deadline driven environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
- Detail oriented while being able to think strategically.
- Time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Effective problem solving, decision making, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Professionalism, tact, courtesy, and diplomacy skills
- Ability to establish and nurture productive relationships with staff, co-workers, customers, trade and industry partners.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail/calendar applications, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), Canva, Adobe Acrobat, CRM and ERP software.
