About the role

Position Summary

The Specialist, Partnerships works closely with the team to support the agency in its next phase of evolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties that support the day-to-day activities for all Orion partnerships. The Specialist will work in conjunction with other departments including Client Service, Activation and Finance, as well as other business units as required to increase Orion utilization and impact in the Canadian market, thereby ensuring partnerships and value opportunities are maximized for clients. The successful candidate will bring an innovative and analytical mindset and experience with media planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the team and oversee various partnership-related projects

  • Build and maintain key relationships internally to drive greater collaboration

  • Review media plans to determine Orion opportunities for clients across the Mediabrands ecosystem

  • Prepare and update regular status reports and communicate with internal team to track deliverables

  • Support in the development of partner projections

  • Oversee, review and maintain partner tracking reports

  • Develop and maintain partner utilization reports

  • Work with Client Service team on partner supply utilization

  • Participate and attend agency training and education programs

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in related field or equivalent work experience

  • 1+ years of media planning/buying expertise

  • A good understanding of the Canadian media marketplace inclusive of digital

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications needed, experience in Excel is a must

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including math proficiency

  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure

  • A team player that takes a proactive approach to problem solving, assisting the team, self-development, etc
