Ton rôle en tant que Spécialiste du support technique

Tu joueras un rôle clé dans la mise en service, l’intégration, le support client et la formation. Nos ingénieurs d’application possèdent non seulement des compétences techniques avancées, mais aussi d’excellentes aptitudes en communication et en résolution de problèmes – des qualités que nous recherchons chez notre futur collègue.

Ce poste est basé dans nos bureaux de Montréal (85%), avec des déplacements occasionnels (15%) chez les clients, y compris aux États-Unis.

Responsabilités principales

• Réaliser la mise en service des systèmes chez les clients.
• Intégrer nos produits dans les environnements clients.
• Assurer le support technique pour nos produits électroniques et logiciels.
• Effectuer des tests internes pour garantir la fiabilité et la performance.

Exigences

• Formation : Baccalauréat en génie électrique (préféré), génie logiciel ou génie mécanique.
• Expérience : 2 à 5 années d’expérience pertinente (les stages sont pris en compte!).
• Compétences techniques : Maîtrise de MATLAB/Simulink.
• Langues : Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais et du français.
• Aptitudes : Passion pour la résolution de problèmes, capacité à travailler sous pression, et excellentes compétences en relations interpersonnelles et service client.

Compétences supplémentaires (atouts)

• Expérience en programmation FPGA et VHDL.
• Connaissance des normes et protocoles automobiles tels que CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• Familiarité avec les systèmes embarqués et le matériel, y compris microcontrôleurs, ECUs, FPGA, DSPs, électronique de puissance (convertisseurs DC-DC, onduleurs, contrôleurs de moteur), ainsi que capteurs et actionneurs (LiDAR, radar, caméras, IMUs).
• Expérience avec les outils de simulation et de test.
• Connaissances en groupe motopropulseur et électrification, notamment les systèmes de gestion de batteries pour véhicules électriques (BMS), les algorithmes de contrôle moteur (FOC, DTC) et les infrastructures de recharge (charge rapide AC/DC, concepts V2G).
• Capacité à créer d’excellents ‘mèmes’ en moins de 10 secondes.

Your Role as a Technical Support Specialist

You’ll play a key role in commissioning, integration, customer support, and training. Our application engineers are not only technically skilled but also strong communicators and problem-solvers - qualities we value in our next team member.

This position is based in our Montreal office (85%), with occasional travel (15%) to customer sites, including the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning at customer sites.
• Integrate our products into customer environments.
• Provide technical support for our electronic products and software.
• Conduct internal testing to ensure reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience (internships count!).
• Technical skills: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Languages: Strong command of English and French.
• Soft skills: Passion for problem-solving, ability to thrive under pressure, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets)

• Experience with FPGA and VHDL programming.
• Familiarity with Automotive Standards & Protocols such as CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• Familiarity with Embedded systems and hardware, such as microcontrollers, ECUs, FPGA, DSPs, Power electronics (DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers), Sensors and actuators (LiDAR, radar, cameras, IMUs).
• Experience with Simulation & Testing Tools.
• Knowledge about Powertrain & Electrification, such as EV battery management systems (BMS), motor control algorithms (FOC, DTC) and charging infrastructure (AC/DC fast charging, V2G concepts).
• Ability to create great ‘memes’ in under 10 seconds.
