WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?
The role operates within the Innovation & Technology group and will function primarily as a Project Manager (PM) on various initiatives across the Strategic Initiatives Team. This role is instrumental in driving high-impact, cross-functional projects that support I&T’s strategic priorities, enhance business and operational efficiency, and deliver meaningful value. The incumbent will work on planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle for strategic initiatives – from initiation and planning through checkpoints and monitoring.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, timeliness, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain details project schedules, plans, and status reports.
- Drive alignment across business units and facilitate effective decision making through structured governance and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as appropriate.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agile delivery within the team and across projects.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- 2-3 years of Project Management or Coordinator Experience
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team
- Ability to prioritize, plan and execute work to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, ability to identify issues and suggest solutions
- Good working knowledge of Innovation & Technology organizational structure and its operational functions and processes.
- Capable or building strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across the enterprise
- Provide concise and effective updates to the Senior Director, I&T Strategic Initiatives and EVP of I&T, as well as to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives where applicable
- Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Project), JIRA, Confluence
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
- Strong Communications Skills with executive leadership
- Associate Project Management Professional (CAPM) or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Experience managing operational activities for technology teams
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, including the ability to organize internal events such as townhalls, executive presentations, and learning sessions.
- Skilled in facilitating meetings and driving actionable outcomes with decision-makers.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and businesses.
