WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB:

  • Assist the Sports & Adventure Program Director and Head Instructors with all Sports Camp programs.
  • Assist with equipment inventory management for Sports & Adventure camps.
  • Support all Sports & Adventure programs and instruct when required.
  • Help organize and co-host cross-camp tournaments and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Appleby’s Sports & Adventure procedures and safety protocols.
  • Aid in safe drop-off and pick-up for all campers, engaging with parents and guardians.
  • Assist in daily camp operations including lunch supervision and transitions.

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Completed second year of post-secondary education with experience instructing Sports or Adventure programs.

  • Strong athletic and coaching skills with proven experience in a recreation or camp setting.

  • Organized and confident leading activities in front of groups.

  • Experience facilitating sports competitions, warm-ups, and adventure programming.

  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR – C or higher.

  • Knowledge or certification in canoeing, ropes, or lifeguarding is an asset.

  • Valid driver’s license is an asset.

WORK SCHEDULE

Training & Pre-Camp

  • Friday May 29, 2026 – Evening

  • Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31, 2026 – Full Day

  • Saturday June 13, 2026 – Full Day

  • Sunday June 14, 2026 – Full Day

Camp Session Dates & Hours

  • Monday June 22 to Friday August 28, 2026 (excluding holidays)
  • Weekdays 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
  • Weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
