About the role
The Opportunity
As a Junior Business Analyst in the Treasury & Shared Services – Business Process & Special Projects team, you will support the Manager of Cash Operations in driving efficiency and standardization for the Cash Application department. This is a highly fluid role where you will work under the guidance of the Manager of Business Processes & Special Projects to provide Business Analyst support on small to large projects.
Responsibilities
- Utilize process mapping techniques to document current-state and future-state processes and systems.
- Coordinate workshop sessions with appropriate groups to gather feedback and alignment on proposed processes and initiatives.
- Document requirements with acceptance criteria to facilitate internal and external development.
- Draft and maintain preliminary training, SOP, and/or communications materials to educate internal cash application departments on upcoming changes.
- Partake in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for process or system changes, and identify and document gaps.
- Support projects and M&A activity by representing the Cash Application stream and providing input based on developed knowledge.
- Provide audit support as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex processes and data to identify opportunities.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, and PowerPoint.
- University degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to foster collaborative decision-making to inform future process improvements and initiatives.
Preferred Attributes

Experience as a Business Analyst within the finance field.

Finance and/or Order-to-Cash (O2C) expertise.

Experience with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
