How you create impact As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a key part in maximizing cash flow, minimizing Day Sales Outstanding, and reducing overdue balances. You’ll help mitigate business unit risks while supporting procedures that drive sustainable growth.
- Manage and control the Accounts Receivable portfolio
- Communicate regularly with Branch and Department Managers
- Handle daily calls and emails with external customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate business records and sound bookkeeping practices
- Develop, analyze, and report on AR metrics
- Resolve issues such as invoice disputes
- Reconcile and match customer accounts as needed
- Ensure compliance with AR policies and internal procedures
- Support management with queries related to billing, gross profit, volume, and collections
- Collaborate with branch controllers to identify and address root causes of issues
What we would like you to bring
- 1+ years of work experience in credit and collections
- 1+ years of work experience in a customer service role
- Intermediate or advanced competency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables required)
- Post-secondary education qualification in business, finance, accounting or related field
- Credit certification is a plus

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
