About the role

Millar Western's Whitecourt Pulp Division is currently accepting applications for summer student positions in our Production and Epsom Salt teams. If you're a motivated individual looking for a valuable work experience, consider joining our team for the work term extending from May 5 to August 28, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be registered for full-time attendance in a post-secondary institute in Fall 2026.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • First consideration given to students currently enrolled in full-time post-secondary studies.
  • Applicants must be available to work until the end of the summer season – August 28th.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on merit through the following process:

  • Telephone/in-person interview
  • Reference check from past employers and/or schools
  • Reference check from previous Millar Western supervisor, where applicable

Additional Considerations:

  • All students should possess the ability to perform required tasks, work shifts, and meet company standards throughout the work term.
  • Special consideration for individuals with prior company experience or who are dependents of current employees.
