Production Supervisor, Evening Shift (Full Time)

In this role you will provide leadership and direction for day-to-day operation over a team of production employees to meet demand of both external and internal customers.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You’ll be coordinating daily production to make sure all distribution needs are met, including shuttle runs and long-haul shipments across the country
  • Supporting day-to-day distribution tasks is key to keeping everything on track and running smoothly
  • You’ll take the lead on reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs, making sure all government and environmental regulations are followed
  • It’s important to ensure your team is fully trained and committed to safety and quality standards, working closely with the Compliance Manager on training efforts
  • Keep an eye on production and manpower levels, anticipate any issues, and help develop backup plans while keeping plant management in the loop
  • You’ll coordinate with other shifts to make sure handoffs are smooth and communication is clear
  • You’ll lead improvement plans around production processes, scheduling, overtime, and training, and report progress to management
  • Managing equipment and product quality issues, maintaining inventory, handling shipping documents, and supporting Lean and Operational Excellence projects will also be part of your role

What makes you great*

  • You’ll need at least a High School Diploma or GED, though having a bachelor’s degree is definitely a plus
  • Bringing 5 or more years of experience working in an industrial plant environment will set you up for success
  • Having spent at least 2 years managing and developing employees shows you’re ready to lead and support a team
  • Be prepared to work evening shifts as part of the role
