Location: Ottawa, Ontario | Job Type: Full-Time | Compensation: $50,000–$70,000/year including Sales Rewards Application Deadline: July 20, 2026 Anticipated Start Date: August 17, 2026
Kitchens & Bathrooms First is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Design Consultant to join our Ottawa team. This is an immediate, full-time opportunity for a motivated individual eager to grow within a well-established, family-owned company. Reporting to the Sales and Administration Manager, the successful candidate will guide customers through kitchen and bathroom renovations by offering expert design consultation and sales support.

Since 2002, Kitchens & Bathrooms First has delivered exceptional renovations through our showroom and professional team of designers, craftsmen, and project managers. Our customer-centric approach includes advanced 3D design services to bring kitchen and bath dreams to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, friendly, and efficient design consultations.
- Qualify prospective customers and understand their renovation goals.
- Create layouts, select products, and prepare detailed estimates.
- Use in-house design software to generate quotes and orders.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay current on design trends.
- Support customers from concept to closing, ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a results-driven setting.
- High attention to detail with a customer-focused mindset.
- Adaptability to learn new tools and design technologies quickly.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering superior service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales and customer service experience (required).
- Interior design diploma (DCS / DEC) and CAD proficiency (assets).
- Strong closing skills and knowledge of structured sales processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word); CAD software experience preferred.
- Upon request, to provide two professional references from a manager you reported to.
Schedule & Work Details
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (40 hours/week)
- Ottawa location – No hybrid work
- Must be able to reliably commute on a daily basis
