The Role
As an integral part of the sales and services team, the FSR, as the first point of contact with members and potential members, is fully knowledgeable of features, benefits, target market, and operating conditions (including required documents) of the full range of personal products and services offered by the credit union. To ensure high levels of service are maintained the FSR may be called upon to assist other FSR’s and complete routine transactions for members.
The FSR is responsible for servicing members consistent with the credit union’s objectives for member service and profitability. The FSR promotes retention of quality, profitable member relationships by thoroughly resolving both ongoing member satisfaction with the credit union’s products and services and supporting the achievement of branch objectives
Process routine teller transactions initiated in person, online, by phone, email
Complete direct deposit forms, and payroll deductions, personal information changes Input member credit card applications and follows up accordingly. Process cheque orders through third party supplier and follows up accordingly.
Maintain cash custody, balance cash daily, adheres to teller transaction limits
Adheres to operational policies and procedures. Responsible for cash orders. Submit cheque images for deposit through Central One.
Responding to inquiries regarding registered products (RRSP, RRIF, TFSA)
Process RRSP and TFSA withdrawals, deposits, transfers, and other transactions.
Process new term deposits, renewals and cancellation instructions
Resolve ATM card and POS transaction problems or concerns. Prepare Wire requests.
This position is for an existing vacancy within our team.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in financial services, retail banking, or a client-facing service role preferred. Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional member or customer experiences.
Previous cash experience preferred
Must be bondable
