Firemaster Oilfield Services Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about building a safe work culture and ensuring compliance across all operations within the oil and gas service industry.
Position: HSE ManagerIndustry: Oil & Gas ServicesEmployment Type: Full-TimeLocation: Alberta Based
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and company safety requirements
- Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations
- Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver new hire employee orientations, training, and toolbox talks
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records which includes ISN, Complyworks, & Avetta.
- Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with management and field personnel to promote a strong safety culture
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years HSE experience in oilfield/oil & gas operations
- Strong understanding of applicable safety regulations and industry standards
- Experience conducting investigations, audits, and safety training
- Professional certifications such as NCSO, CRSP, CSP, or equivalent
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid class 5 driver?s license required
