Buffalo Inspection Services is Canada’s largest non-union, full-service Non-Destructive Testing provider. We’re hiring a Lead Inspector to join our Downhole Tool Division — someone ready to lead inspection activities, mentor technicians, and uphold our quality and safety standards.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
Lead, coordinate and perform inspection activities for downhole tools and related equipment following TH Hill DS-1 and API RP 7G-2 Inspection Standards. CGSB MTII / PTII certification are an asset. Ensure all work meets client specifications, internal quality procedures, and regulatory requirements. Troubleshoot equipment issues, ensuring inspection tools are calibrated and ready for use. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Downhole Tool Division technicians. Manage scheduling, workflow, and task prioritization to meet client timelines. Communicate clearly with clients regarding updates and inspection results. Support audits, NCR follow-ups, and continuous improvement of inspection processes. Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and Buffalo’s safety, quality and conduct standards. Report hazards, incidents and near misses promptly. Promote teamwork, continuous learning and positive work practices. Valid driver’s license.
