About Creator

Creator.co is a leading influencer marketing platform designed to connect Influencers, Brands, and Admins in a seamless ecosystem. Our platform simplifies campaign creation, management, and analytics by offering customized workflows for each user type. As we continue to innovate and scale, we're seeking detail-oriented QA professionals who leverage AI tools to deliver exceptional product quality.

Role Overview

We're looking for a QA Engineer who combines strong manual testing fundamentals with an AI-forward mindset. You'll work closely with our development, design, and product teams to test new features and ensure a reliable, intuitive experience for all users—Influencers, Brands, and Admins.

This role is ideal for someone who already uses AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in their QA workflows and is actively exploring how to do more with them. You'll have the opportunity to grow into test automation using Cypress, with AI assistance to accelerate that learning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of new and existing features across web and mobile platforms

  • Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and bug reports

  • Use AI tools to generate test cases, identify edge cases, and improve bug documentation

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues

  • Understand and test for the unique workflows and permissions associated with our three-tiered user system (Influencer, Brand, Admin)

  • Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to stay aligned with team priorities

  • Learn and contribute to our Cypress test automation framework, leveraging AI to build out automated test suites

  • Champion quality across the product lifecycle—from early design reviews to post-release monitoring

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of manual QA experience, preferably in SaaS or web applications

  • Strong bug documentation skills—clear reproduction steps, appropriate severity levels, helpful screenshots

  • Already using AI tools beyond basic chat interfaces—whether that's IDE integrations, API workflows, custom prompts, or automation scripts—and actively seeking ways to use them more effectively

  • Familiar with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues)

  • Comfortable with browser DevTools for debugging

  • Excellent communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams

  • Curious about user experience and eager to understand how different users interact with the platform

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

  • API testing experience (Postman, REST)

  • Experience testing multi-role permission systems

  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (IDE integrations, code generation, automated test writing)

  • Experience QAing AI/ML systems (MCP servers, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations)

  • Experience testing mobile-responsive web applications

What we offer

  • Be part of a growing company at the forefront of influencer marketing

  • Work on a platform with real impact and unique user journeys across three distinct user types

  • AI-forward team culture—we're flexible on tooling (OpenAI, Anthropic, open source) but expect you to push the boundaries of AI-assisted QA

  • Opportunity to grow into test automation with AI as your accelerator

  • Supportive team that values learning, feedback, and innovation

  • Flexible hybrid work environment (Vancouver, BC)

About CREATOR

Technology, Information and Media
1-10

We're part designer, part food revolutionary and part roboticist. We've solved some of the most complex mathematical and engineering challenges to bring the world technology that can touch billions of people.

Creators are a motley crew of engineers, culinary scientists, human-centered designers, machinists, and tested fabricators. We've come from institutions like MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, and some of the best junior colleges in our great nation. We're formerly of places like NASA, Disney Imagineering, the Navy, Chez Panisse, and A's Burgers.

We came together to elevate something so intimate to everyone: food. In order to do that, we created design values for what a dining experience could be, set the bar for what culinary instruments could do, and defined new engineering possibilities. But we're just getting going. That means that we got a chance to make history by building a better future.

It's an exciting time: while tech has made wonderful progress in drones and autonomous cars, an experience more common than driving, eating, sits in a constant state of tension. That's because it's a big, hard problem to solve. Technology must conform to nature, not the other way around. It's both precise yet subjective; art has to meet science.

And yet, as hard as the challenge is, we are already at our first public deployment. From here it's off to creating a billion experiences. If you want to touch the most people, make food.
