Summary
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Night Auditor- WEEKENDS
As a Night Auditor you will be empowered to ensure each guest has an amazing stay and is provided with a genuine and welcoming experience whilst staying with us.
What is expected of me in this role?
- Leads Front Desk operation overnight while collaborating with all the departments and representing management.
- Provides regular feedback to Front office managers concerning service issues, guest requests, complaints, and comments.
- Conduct timely execution of the night audit process, and preparation of reports and information for the next day of operation.
- Assists guests with arrivals and departures and makes sure that the desk is manned at all times.
- Conducts duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner by following hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.
- Prepares daily internal hotel communications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include holidays.
- Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
- Ability to handle cash and credit procedures
- Shift starts at 11 pm-7:30 am
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability is a must
- Valid work authorization for Canada
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Night Auditor at a hotel or similar operation.
- Previous PMS experience is required; OPERA experience would be preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
