Together, we are proud to support 30 million Canadians each month through managing a robust portfolio that champions leading-edge technology. We drive large-scale, complex, and high-visibility technology projects and programs that shape the future of technology in Canada and expand connectivity from coast to coast. If you are interested in being a part of this, consider applying for the following opportunity:

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for a visionary Enterprise Architect to define and drive the technology roadmap for BSS and OSS domains, enabling large-scale digital transformation. You’ll lead API-first architecture adoption, set design standards, and influence strategic decisions across the enterprise.
If you have deep telecom architecture expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation, we want to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

  • Define the target architecture and enterprise roadmap for BSS and OSS domains to support business strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term transformation objectives.
  • Establish architecture principles and design standards that guide decision-making across projects and programs.
  • Analyze the current IT landscape, identify critical deficiencies, and perform gap analysis to drive modernization and transformation initiatives.
  • Lead identification and evaluation of emerging technology trends, and provide strategic input into vendor selection processes (RFI/RFQ/RFPs).
  • Develop and maintain API strategy and design standards, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security across enterprise integrations.
  • Drive API-first architecture adoption and oversee the design of reusable, well-governed APIs to enable digital transformation and interoperability.
  • Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, product managers, and delivery teams to align technology strategy with business priorities and transformation goals.
  • Communicate the technology roadmap and architectural vision to executives, business leaders, and technical teams in clear, compelling ways.
  • Develop and enforce internal architectural standards, patterns, and best practices, ensuring adoption across solution architects and development teams.
  • Participate Architecture Review Boards and govern implementation to maintain architectural integrity and compliance.
  • Provide strategic technical direction to enable innovation, scalability, and resilience while mitigating risks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on enterprise transformation projects, influencing decisions that impact long-term business and technology outcomes.
  • Champion security, privacy, and compliance considerations in all architectural decisions.
  • Mentor and coach solution architects and technical leaders to build a strong architecture community within the organization.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline (required).
  • 5 to 15 years of experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture within large-scale IT environments, preferably in telecommunications.
  • Deep understanding of Business Support Systems (BSS), including Digital Channels, CRM, Order Management, Billing and Provisioning
  • Proven experience in API design and governance, Microservices architecture, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and information models such as TM Forum Frameworx (Open API, TAM, eTOM, SID), TOGAF, or Zachman.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, API lifecycle management, and modern API platforms.
  • Experience driving enterprise roadmaps and leading large-scale transformation programs.
  • Strong decision-making, consensus-building, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and business environments while maintaining architectural integrity.
  • A passion for continuous learning, innovation, and fostering a collaborative architecture community.
  • Knowledge of security architecture principles and experience integrating security into solution design.
