About the Role
The opportunity Reporting to the VP of Delivery, the Project Manager takes end-to-end ownership of customer delivery projects — bringing them in on time and to a high standard of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that sits at the intersection of project execution and relationship management. You will be the primary point of contact for customers through implementation and adoption, and a key collaborator across Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support internally.
Our ideal candidate brings 5+ years of progressive project management experience in a technology environment — hardware and software — and combines structured delivery discipline with the communication skills and relationship instincts required to guide customers through change. Responsibilities: Project Delivery Lead end-to-end delivery of customer implementation projects (hardware & software), ensuring on-time completion, budget adherence, and quality standards throughout. Ensure projects meet identified customer value goals before completion. Customer value goals are determined during the sales discovery process, and may include specific KPIs or business outcomes. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and statements of work (SOW) aligned to customer requirements and business objectives. Ensure all tasks and deliverables identified in the Statement of Work are executed to quality standards; review deliverables prior to submission for accuracy and completeness. Proactively monitor project progress, identify and manage risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams and leadership. Facilitate change requests, ensuring all parties are informed of impacts to scope, schedule, resources, and budget. Submit project deliverables for customer approval and facilitate acceptance on or before due dates. Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure efficient use of personnel and tools across projects. Establish, refine, and champion standard operating procedures for project delivery to drive consistency and scalability. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, successful practices, and areas for improvement. Identify improvement areas, business opportunities, and emerging best practices; share findings with relevant internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, providing clear communication, regular updates, and strategic guidance. Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their consistent execution. Prepare and deliver status reports, executive summaries, and risk assessments for customers and internal leadership. Own project documentation including schedules, project charters, change logs, and acceptance records.
Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain trusted, productive relationships with key customer contacts; take personal ownership of customer satisfaction during the project and through the transition period. Assess and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, maintaining high satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle. Represent the full range of Real Time Networks solutions and communicate their value in the context of each customer's operational environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Champion collaboration across Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support to optimize project outcomes. Work closely with internal teams to ensure all parties remain aligned on requirements, deadlines, and deliverables. Lead problem-solving efforts and drive resolution of complex challenges; escalate critical issues appropriately and with urgency. What you bring: Project Management Discipline — You are structured, organized, and methodical. You build solid project plans and hold teams accountable to them, while remaining adaptable when circumstances change. Communication & Influence — You communicate clearly and confidently with customers and internal stakeholders alike. You listen well, ask the right questions, and translate complex technical or operational details into language that drives alignment and action. Customer Focus — You understand that delivery success is measured by customer outcomes, not just task completion. You build trust with customers through responsiveness, transparency, and follow-through. Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking — You anticipate issues before they escalate, think clearly under pressure, and bring structured thinking to complex challenges. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership — You work effectively across teams, influence without authority, and bring people together around shared objectives. Time Management & Prioritization — You manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously without losing track of detail or letting timelines slip. You are legally authorized to work in Canada. Education & Experience Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered. 5+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably in a technology company (hardware, software, or SaaS). Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing implementation or delivery projects from initiation through go-live and adoption. Formal project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a strong asset. Experience with change management and guiding customers through system transitions is an asset.
