Position Information

This position is to establish competence in the theory and practice of radiation oncology physics.   Temporary until September 9th, 2028 approximately.   Additional information about the position may be obtained from: Sara Gholampourkashi, PhD, MCCPM, Program Director  TOH Radiation Oncology Physics Residency Program, sgholampourkashi@toh.ca and our program website:  https://med.uottawa.ca/radiology/divisions/medical-physics/education/residency-program   This program participates in the MedPhys match. Qualified applicants should submit a CV package (single document) that includes a cover letter, CV, status in Canada, names of three professional referees, and academic transcripts by January 23rd, 2026.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, 8 hour shifts. *For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change.

Basic Requirements

Postgraduate degree from a CAMPEP accredited medical physics program; Demonstrated positive work and attendance record; Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

 Ph.D. in Medical Physics;  Established research record; Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
