THE POSITION
- The Library Technician will have significant experience in collections and acquisitions as well as demonstrated enthusiasm for young adult literature.
- Provide support services including cataloging and classifying library items, circulating library materials, shelving and shelf reading, maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, assisting staff and students, and providing supervision of the library
- This position is Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
**WHAT DO WE OFFER? **
- Hourly rate $24.40 - $28.25
- Pension plan and extended benefits package
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two-year diploma in Library Technology from a recognized college/institute or equivalent training and experience
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with students, parents, teachers, support staff, volunteers and administration
- Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community
