About the role

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, the Vascular Diagnostic Technologist will provide a variety of vascular testing modalities.  The position will involve shift work and on‑call services.

About You

•  Graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Program or equivalent with Vascular Specialty

•  Current (or eligible) for registration with NSCMIRTP

•  Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

•  Current CPR Certification

•  Recent clinical experience in a non‑Invasive Vascular Lab is preferred

•  Ability to maintain good relationships with patients, families and co‑workers

•  Ability to work with minimum supervision, on a consultative basis, within the health care team

•  Strong sense of initiative and responsibility

•  Ability to adapt to flexible workload and stressful situation

•  Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Long assignment full‑time position; 75 hours biweekly

  • Approximately 15 months

  • Monday to Friday 8am‑4pm or 9am‑5pm; subject to change as operationally required

Compensation and Benefits

$41.75 - $51.17

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long‑term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
