Labourer – Thorold, ON (Local Candidates Only – 30 minutes) Location: Thorold, Ontario
Compensation: $25–$28 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Variable shifts; evenings, weekends, and extended shifts (10–14 hours) may be required
About The Role Clean Harbors is seeking Labourers located within 30 minutes of Thorold, ON to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of industrial labor tasks, including confined space entry, working at heights, rigging, and high‑pressure water blasting up to 40,000 PSI. Full training and PPE are provided.

Responsibilities
-
Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
-
Assist Operators with the safe operation of all units and equipment
-
Ensure safe, stable, and secure placement of units on job sites
-
Complete daily paperwork and documentation
-
Rig equipment in and out of confined spaces, tanks, and vessels
-
Perform general cleanup and maintenance of units after job completion
-
Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients
-
Carry out labor-intensive tasks including:
-
Shoveling, raking, vacuum hose handling
-
Pressure washing and high‑pressure water blasting
-
Debris removal, site setup, and cleanup
-
Conduct pre/post‑trip inspections and field‑level risk assessments
Set up equipment and ensure proper usage throughout job execution
Qualifications
- Class G Driver’s License
- Ability to provide a Clean 3‑year driver’s abstract
- Previous site or industrial experience is an asset
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
- Experience with vacuum trucks, pressure washing, or high‑pressure units is an asset
- Physically capable of performing labor‑intensive tasks
- Safety certifications preferred (Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry & Rescue)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO) required prior to onboarding
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts
- Mechanical aptitude considered an asset
