The Opportunity
The Talent Branch is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for 2 permanent Team Lead, Talent Attraction positions. Our Team Lead, Talent Attraction, plays a key role in shaping the Government of Saskatchewan’s staffing and recruitment practices. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves mentoring others, and is passionate about continuously improving hiring manager and candidate experience while maintaining the integrity of staffing policies. The position will be based in Regina or Saskatoon.
As the Team Lead, you will:
- Serve as the primary escalation point for Talent Attraction Consultants in delivering recruitment-focused consulting services aligned with organizational standards across the Government of Saskatchewan;
- Coach and train Talent Attraction Consultants on staffing training and when providing subject matter expertise on staffing grievances;
- Consult with key stakeholders such as Manager, HRBPs; Manager, Talent Attraction; Director, Talent Attraction; Manager, Staffing;
- Provide input into Talent Attraction programming, policies, and procedures;
- Manage Talent Attraction Consultants to high performance, in partnership with the Manager, Talent Attraction;
- Support and guide the delivery of bumping, re-employment, and other staffing compliance work, and
- Act as subject matter expert for staffing training
Who You Are
- A strategic and collaborative professional with in-depth expertise in staffing legislation, staffing grievances, and re-employment protocols.
- Skilled in coaching and mentoring, with strong interpersonal abilities and a proven track record of resolving complex issues.
- Adept at analyzing data to guide strategic decisions, leading high-performing teams in policy-driven environments, and consulting on collective agreements with precision.
- Communicates clearly and effectively across diverse stakeholder groups, both verbally and in writing.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required is obtained through formal education in Human Resources and experience in talent attraction, but relevant combinations will also be considered.
