About The Role
As a result of our continuous growth, we are excited to expand our Human Resources team with the addition of a Talent Acquisition Partner. This role is pivotal in shaping our workforce by attracting, sourcing, and onboarding top talent across clinical and administrative domains. The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for building strategic relationships with internal managers, external partners, educational institutions, and community organizations to facilitate effective recruitment campaigns. The role involves developing and executing creative sourcing strategies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and managing the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires. Operating in a hybrid model, this position requires a combination of in-office work and travel to job fairs and recruitment events to meet staffing needs effectively.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2-4 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. A post-secondary degree or diploma is required, with a strong understanding of high-volume recruitment processes. Proven experience in sourcing and attracting talent through various channels, including social media, partnerships with educational institutions, and professional associations, is essential. Knowledge of relevant employment legislation such as the Employment Standards Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and Human Rights legislation is necessary to ensure compliance. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in ATS systems, MS Word, and Excel, along with excellent organizational and prioritization skills. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple stakeholder requirements are critical. The role may involve some travel, and the candidate must be able to provide a clear criminal background check.
Responsibilities
Actively sourcing and screening applicants to identify qualified candidates for various roles within the organization. Advertising and promoting job openings and the company through social media platforms, job boards, and partnerships with educational institutions, agencies, and professional associations. Creating compelling job postings on appropriate websites to attract diverse talent pools. Conducting phone screens with applicants and providing detailed candidate information to hiring managers. Coordinating internal and external recruitment events, including job fairs and community outreach initiatives. Utilizing applicant tracking systems and other tools to record, track, and report hiring metrics and statistics. Partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop sourcing strategies accordingly. Maintaining ongoing communication with managers and candidates to facilitate the hiring process and ensure alignment. Completing reference checks and background verification for new hires in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Adhering to all relevant legislation, including employment standards, accessibility laws, and human rights regulations. Supporting additional HR functions and projects as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team.
