Job Description SENIOR CHIEF ENGINEER, INTERMEDIATE Salt Spring Island

We are currently seeking applications from individuals interested in being considered for a Shipboard Management position as Senior Chief Engineer on Salt Spring Island.

The successful applicant is a passionate, innovative engineer who brings the technical, interpersonal, developmental, administrative and leadership skills as well as the experience required for safe and efficient management and operation of the ship’s machinery and equipment. You are committed to the Company’s vision and values including safety, exceeding customer expectations and performance efficiency. Your experience includes proficiency in marine engineering with relevant operating systems and a demonstrated knowledge in safe work practices, leadership & development of employees and an understanding of financial and budget processes.

Interested employees holding a Transport Canada 1st Class Motor Certificate or 2nd Class Certificate may be acceptable for this opportunity based on meeting the qualifications, experience and suitability requirements determined by the Company.
