Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply to join the Ledcor Highways team in Fort Nelson BC today! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4c Essential Responsibilities : Perform various highway maintenance tasks including crack sealing, asphalt patching, flagging, message painting , etc. Road patrol, debris removal, culvert clean out, sign repair and installation, bridge washing/clearing, and brushing Assist with traffic control procedures Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment Perform other road maintenance duties as required Work outside in all weather conditions Qualifications : Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Be able to perform physically demanding tasks Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Flagging experience is a strong asset Work Conditions: Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided) As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required Compensation $20.82 - $25.65 per hour This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location. Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
