About the role
About Klassen Klassen is a family company built over generations — rooted in hard work, innovation, and a commitment to create value that lasts. Since 1963 we've grown from a single truck and a local mission into a trusted supplier and transportation partner across 40 states and provinces. From soils and mulches to bedding and agricultural products, we transform wood residuals into dependable solutions. If you want a company where people matter, quality matters, and your work makes a difference — welcome to Klassen.
About the Role We're hiring an experienced Class 1 Super B Driver for steady, local day-shift work out of our Merritt terminal — home every day, no overnight hauls. You'll operate a Super B configuration hauling sawdust, wood chips and bulk wood residuals on reliable local routes, working alongside dispatchers and managers who know your name. Super B is our premium tier: if you've got the experience, this is where it pays off — and if you're close, ask about growing into it.

- Starting $34.50/hr (day shift), plus overtime after 45 hours/week
- Quarterly profit sharing — K-Bucks, 5–20% target — plus performance and safety bonuses
- Effective earnings approximately $36–$41/hr with profit sharing; illustrative $90,000–$101,000/year
- Full-time, permanent; day shift, Monday–Friday; home terminal Merritt, BC
What we offer
- Full benefits — dental, life, pharmaceutical, vision, chiropractor, massage, EAP and more — 100% employer-paid
- Home daily, year-round steady local work; well-maintained, newer equipment
- Paid in-truck orientation; driver referral bonus; annual $300 boot allowance
- Sick days; direct deposit every two weeks; person-to-person support and real career growth
What you bring

About Valley Carriers Ltd.
Valley Carriers is the Klassen's original operating company. It was just recently ranked No. 398 on the 29th Annual Profit 500, the definitive ranking of Canada's fastest growing companies and is also listed at No. 68 on Business in Vancouver's list of fastest growing companies in BC. Each year, the fleet of over forty trucks travels nearly 2.5 million kilometers, transporting heavy equipment, logs and wood residuals, such as sawdust, bark mulch & hog fuel for use in agriculture, landscaping and the pulp & paper industry. True to our roots, we still provide bedding material for dairy, equestrian and poultry farming throughout the Lower Mainland, but we've grown to include the transportation of wood residuals from shake and shingle mills to pulp mills and also the hauling of logs from the forests to sawmills.
