The Senior Marketing Consultant, Marketing Partnerships is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing partnership initiatives with key external partners. This role provides advanced marketing strategy, partnership management, and consultative marketing expertise to drive mutual business growth, brand value, and market impact for both Aviva and its partners.

What you’ll do:
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership marketing opportunities aligned with business strategy.
- Develop and execute partnership marketing plans, including campaigns, go-to-market initiatives, and integrated communications.
- Serve as the primary marketing advisor and subject matter expert for key partners, ensuring alignment of goals and maximizing partnership value.
Consultative Marketing Expertise

Provide advanced marketing consulting services, including:
- Brand strategy and positioning
- Integrated marketing planning (B2B and B2C)
- Digital and offline campaign strategy & execution
- Creative direction and messaging
- Lead generation and customer acquisition
- Measurement and optimization of partnership marketing performance

Advise partners on best practices, emerging trends, and innovative tactics to accelerate growth.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Lead cross-functional teams (internal and external) to deliver partnership marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, business, legal, IT, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage external agencies and vendors as needed, including sourcing and recommending partners to stakeholders.
Relationship Building & Influence
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with marketers & senior leaders at partner organizations.
- Represent Aviva Marketing in business reviews, and joint planning sessions.
- Act as a thought leader and advocate for partnership marketing within the organization.
Financial & Non-Financial Impact
- Oversee partnership marketing budgets in consultation with VP Marketing.
- Track and report on partnership performance, ROI, and business impact.
What you’ll bring:

Minimum 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a focus on partnership marketing, strategic alliances, or channel marketing.

Demonstrated success in developing and managing high-impact marketing partnerships.

Experience in B2B and B2C marketing within insurance and/or financial services is an asset.

Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and external partners.

Expertise in digital and traditional marketing channels, campaign management, and performance analytics.

Strong consulting, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and partnership orientation.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

High degree of comfort in a consultative, client-facing role.
