Working under the direction of Tmira Marchment, the teaching assistant will be
responsible for assisting with the completion of duties associated with the delivery of SW
100 during the Fall 2025 semester.
Duties include assistance with grading assignments and other duties as needed.
Class time: Thursdays, 2:30am-5:15pm. (TA does not need to attend class and is able
to complete work at any time.)
Position Requirements
- Preference given to a U of R graduate student in social work
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with social work practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Physical Demands Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range As Per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
September – December, 2025 for a total of 50 hours.
