Explore your next role:
The AR Coordinator will be responsible for invoicing based on prescribed contracts and to collect on receivable accounts in accordance with established credit terms. This position requires a high degree of interaction and liaising with internal divisions to ensure all revenue is properly captured each month, in addition to the requirement to accrue revenue based on contracts that are in progress. It is expected accounts are reconciled monthly to ensure accuracy and proper reporting of outstanding amounts owed to the Company.
Your responsibilities:
-
Create monthly revenue invoices for the Airline, MRO, and Leasing divisions in accordance with the relevant contract and route internally for approval, print, code, post in Great Plains (GP), and email final invoices to customer.

Process all part sales invoices received daily, including coding and posting in Great Plains (GP).

Process all the cost center invoices received daily, including review of the corresponding receiving report through the WA Accounting Portal.

Process revenue invoice for Ambulance New Brunswick, in addition to scanning all support documents.

Generate draft invoices using WinAir (WA) to identify MRO revenue that is to be accrued for work in process and create corresponding manual journal entry in Great Plains for revenue recognition.

Ensure timely collection of customer accounts in accordance with credit terms and limits.
-
Ensure incoming payments received are applied daily to customer accounts in Great Plains (GP) to support integrity and accuracy of reports provided to VPs.
-
Investigate and resolve unapplied payments to ensure outstanding invoices are properly represented.
-
Ensure all refund payments are discussed with supervisor/management prior to the return of funds so they may be considered and properly evaluated.

Engage with internal and external customers on a regular basis regarding their account status through phone call and email.
-
Ensure delinquent/problem accounts are brought forward to the AR Analyst promptly for further action and consideration of overall impact to their credit account portfolio.

Support month end close functions related to Accounts Receivable and ensure subledger balances reconcile to the General Ledger.

Perform customer reconciliations on all customer accounts monthly, ensuring all invoices have been sent out.

Provide internal and external auditors with documents and reconciliations as requested to support walkthrough and testing phases.

Ensure accounting policies are continuously upheld for compliance with National Instruments 52-109.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or accounting role is required.

Possess strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in accounting-related software programs and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to deal with difficult customers, including those in arrears, with professionalism, patience, and sound judgment.
Eligibility:
You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
