About the role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations. Recruit and hire staff. Supervise staff. Conduct performance reviews. Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies. Conduct training sessions. Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities. Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Prepare marketing plans. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Establish work schedules. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervision: 5-10 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word. MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
