Job Description
As a Snowflake Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data models in Snowflake. You will work closely with data analysts and data scientists to ensure data is accessible and usable for analytics and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements.
- Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and SQL.
- Proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations.
