About the role

Type of position: Regular

Your future role on our team

BBA is establishing a specialized sales activation function, driven by our trio of Marketing and Business Development strategists.

Each strategist will be associated with a BBA market (power and renewables, mining and metals, or fuels and chemicals), and will work closely with that market's sales teams to refine our positioning and develop the tools needed to support them.

In this role, you'll also collaborate closely with your peers: together with your fellow strategists, you'll establish new ways of working in sales activation at BBA (sales tools, content library) and define the matrixed operating model within the team.

You'll be able to count on the day-to-day support of a team of marketing advisors, whom you'll involve based on your market's priorities for mandates such as content production, strategic service offer preparation, or client presentations.

Develop high-value sales tools: client presentations, executive presentations, and complex strategic service offers Define and maintain the value propositions and differentiators specific to your market, tailored to clients and sales contexts Lead the positioning of priority strategic service offers Work with leadership teams and client account managers on positioning, key messages, and offer strategy Establish new ways of working in sales activation: sales tools, content library Define the matrixed operating model for the team: workflow for the marketing advisor team, priorities, capacity allocation, and quality standards Involve advisors based on your market's priorities, on mandates such as content production, strategic service offer preparation, or client presentations Mentor advisors on mandates worked on jointly with the marketing advisors team Support content creation and the assembly of proposals and presentations

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

From 10 to 15 years or more of experience in marketing, business development or communications, ideally in a professional services or consulting environment Proven experience creating sales content, from strategy through to final delivery Strong skills in B2B positioning and storytelling, with a solid understanding of brand application across various market contexts Experience managing staff, with the ability to develop talent and build a strong team culture in a matrix environment Comfortable leading through ambiguity and contributing to organizational design, not just its execution Strong visual sense and proficiency with design tools such as Canva or equivalent Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive positioning Strong familiarity with AI tools to improve quality and efficiency
