Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in OAKVILLE, ON. The Truck Driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations while adhering to schedules and delivery instructions. Day-to-day tasks include performing vehicle inspections, following DOT and company safety regulations, securing and sometimes unloading cargo, and completing all required documentation and logs accurately. The role involves coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams, maintaining clean and serviceable equipment, and representing CQR Logistics professionally with customers and at delivery points.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong commercial driving skills, including CDL Class A and proven Truck Driving experience. Candidates should possess skills in Truck operation, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle safety checks. Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and safe driving practices, with a commitment to compliance and safety standards. Candidates should possess experience with Unloading and handling freight safely and efficiently when required. Valid clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Ability to lift and move cargo as needed and work in varying weather and traffic conditions. Strong time management, communication skills, and reliability in meeting delivery schedules. Previous experience in logistics or freight transportation is an asset.
