Job Description:
Our enterprise client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT/OT integration and cyber‑focused initiatives within their Digital Transformation portfolio. The role ensures end‑to‑end project delivery, alignment with business strategy, and disciplined execution. The Project Manager will guide cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and support organizational goals through best‑practice project methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of IT/OT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Establish project structures, manage cross‑functional teams, and ensure adherence to AltaGas’ Project Delivery Methodology (PDM).
- Facilitate project scope, objectives, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Create and manage project budgets and financial tracking.
- Manage vendor contracts and deliverables.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as required, and measure performance for improvements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing updates regarding strategy, progress, and adjustments.
- Apply industry best practices and standards throughout execution.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of IT & OT infrastructure (network, server, telecom, data centre, control systems, SCADA).
- Experience in operating facility environments and control procedures.
- Familiarity with OT cybersecurity best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field.
- 5–10 years of project management experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑vendor environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
