Job Summary
General Practitioner/Family Physician with Interest in Mental Health & Substance Use
Both the Oceanside and Arbutus Tertiary Geriatric Psychiatry teams are looking for a part‑time General Practitioner/Family Physician.
Responsibilities
- medical responsibility for patients under your care at both sites, proactively dealing with medical issues and liaising with specialist as and when needed, available for medical assessment for new admissions, available to contribute in complex family situations
- flexibility to help out new admissions/MHAct forms when needed
- participation in the on‑call Rota covering both sides
- providing cross‑coverage to other GP colleagues
Compensation
Alternative Payment Plan, Sessional
Qualifications
- ACLS
- CCFP
- CMPA
- CPSBC Eligible for Full License
