About the role
The role:
As an Account Executive your job is to increase sales in an assigned territory directly to salons. Reporting to our area sales manager, you will prospect new salons and maximize growth in existing ones by promoting Kao Salon German products and offering educational programs. You will build relationships with stylists while working with your manager for growth and development, Brand Executives to support opportunities for Oribe salons to use Goldwell colour and Education Managers who will also help create joint business plans to help salons grow their businesses.
The territory consists of Central Toronto.
Kao Canada offers an excellent benefits package along with a salary of $65,000 - $73,000 + bonus + car allowance.
What you will do:
- Generate revenue from salons in a specific geographic territory by implementing sales strategies for meeting new account goals and working with existing accounts to obtain mutual growth.
- Provide excellent customer service by conducting regular and consistent salon visits, managing inventory of Kao Salon products, communicating policies and promotions, promoting educational programs and events, handling product exchanges and returns, monitoring and collecting outstanding balances, and successfully executing sales promotions.
- Work with your customer base to prepare and execute Joint Business Plans while integrating the support of the Field education manager and education network.
- Report progress to manager on prospecting activities while providing insights and recommendations for next step strategies in both new and existing business.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and the importance of adhering to company policies and procedures.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of Salon Sales experience
- Field sales and customer account management
- Minimum 3 years "on-the-road", consultative experience in B2B sales
