Promotion of Medigas products and services to referral sources, including educational in-services to medical/healthcare communities is an integral part of the job.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You’ll be initiating and monitoring prescribed respiratory therapy right in clients’ homes, which includes doing assessments, providing education, documenting everything, and following up to make sure the equipment is working well and clients are sticking to their therapy
  • Delivering and exchanging equipment at client homes is part of the job, and sometimes that means lifting equipment that can weigh up to 60 pounds
  • Some in-home visits might require you to travel long distances, so being comfortable with that is important
  • You’ll also have in-office consultations with clients who need sleep and oxygen support
  • Conducting training sessions on respiratory equipment with community partners will be part of your role to help others stay informed and skilled
  • Promoting our products and services to referral sources is key to building awareness and trust
  • Building and maintaining strong, high-quality relationships with clients and referral sources will help ensure ongoing success
  • Safety is a top priority, so you’ll perform all your duties in line with safety standards
  • Supporting the training and development of new employees when needed will help the team grow
  • You’ll participate in a regular on-call rotation to provide support when required

What makes you great*

  • You’ll need to be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse with current registration, or a Registered Practical Nurse
  • Bringing at least 2 years of related experience is preferred, with homecare and sales experience considered a strong asset
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills will help you connect effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities at once is important to keep things running smoothly
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach will help you deliver quality outcomes
  • Being able to work well under pressure while maintaining a strong sense of urgency is key in this role
  • A commitment to client and personal safety, along with maintaining client confidentiality, is essential
  • Having a clear driving record and being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required for this position
