Role Summary:
The Junior Instructional Designer supports the design and development of engaging learning experiences that help employees succeed in their roles. This is a hands-on, growth-focused role ideal for someone early in their L&D career who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn modern instructional design practices, learning technology, and AI-enabled tools.

You’ll work closely with experienced instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to build, update, and maintain learning content that is practical, learner-friendly, and aligned to business needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the design and development of digital, blended, and instructor-led learning solutions.
  • Assist in creating instructional materials such as e-learning modules, job aids, learner guides, and facilitator resources.
  • Update and refresh existing learning content to ensure clarity, relevance, and accuracy.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices with guidance from senior team members.
  • Use learning technologies and AI-enabled tools to support content creation, editing, and prototyping.
  • Create basic multimedia learning assets (visuals, audio, video, interactive elements).
  • Upload, organize, and maintain learning content in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal partners to gather content and feedback.
  • Support quality checks, testing, and continuous improvement of learning materials.

What You Bring

  • Education or early-career experience in instructional design, education, training, communications, or a related field.
  • Exposure to eLearning tools, LMS platforms, or multimedia/graphic design is an asset.
  • Foundational understanding of adult learning or instructional design principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with technology, learning new tools, and exploring AI to support learning development.
  • Organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn and grow.
