Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Reports to: Maintenance Operations Manager Location: Vaughan, Ontario, Canada Our Client is an OEM parts manufacturer and a leading Tier1 Supplier on the world stage.

Growth AND proactive 'Succession Planning' have facilitated our search of key maintenance talent for this mission-critical position: Overview Expectations Of The Maintenance Supervisor Leading a skilled team of skilled tradespersons, you're responsible for the daily operations of equipment reliability, maximum uptime, and ensuring the production KPI goals are safeguarded and reached in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. What You’ll Do

  • Lead, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities for both planned and unplanned work.
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor MRO inventory levels and authorize required purchases.
  • Support autonomous maintenance and operator care initiatives.
  • Participate in production meetings, reporting on equipment status and downtime.
  • Ensure resources are available for shutdowns, overtime, and off-hours support as needed.
  • Coach and develop team members while contributing to departmental objectives and KPIs.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Licensed trade qualification or strong engineering background.
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and basic PLC knowledge.
  • Strong prioritization skills and sense of urgency.
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles (an asset).
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (MS Office).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and different shifts.
