Growth AND proactive 'Succession Planning' have facilitated our search of key maintenance talent for this mission-critical position: Overview Expectations Of The Maintenance Supervisor Leading a skilled team of skilled tradespersons, you're responsible for the daily operations of equipment reliability, maximum uptime, and ensuring the production KPI goals are safeguarded and reached in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities for both planned and unplanned work.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance.
- Oversee troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Monitor MRO inventory levels and authorize required purchases.
- Support autonomous maintenance and operator care initiatives.
- Participate in production meetings, reporting on equipment status and downtime.
- Ensure resources are available for shutdowns, overtime, and off-hours support as needed.
- Coach and develop team members while contributing to departmental objectives and KPIs.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
- 5+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Licensed trade qualification or strong engineering background.
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and basic PLC knowledge.
- Strong prioritization skills and sense of urgency.
- Working knowledge of Lean principles (an asset).
- Intermediate computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Flexibility to work overtime and different shifts.
