Distribution Services Coordinator
About the role
SUMMARY
The Distribution Services Coordinator/Loading Dock Attendant is responsible for receiving, distributing, and shipping mail and Courier packages and for coordinating client Loading Dock Activities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Distribution Services
Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail/courier envelopes, packages and boxes.
Prepares, determines method of shipment and ships outgoing mail and packages. Weighs outgoing mail and applies appropriate postage and prepares shipping documentation.
Deliver client office supplies received from supplier and makes returns as requested.
Delivers courier packages, letters and other items to client premises.
Maintains records for all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Book, manage and provide dates for main floor conference rooms and East Lounge events.
Set up meeting and conference rooms according to tenant requests.
Ensures the mailroom is maintained in an organized manner.
Loading Dock Activities - Shipping and Receiving
Facilitates Receiving for client related business at the building Loading Dock.
Facilitates Shipping for client related business at the building Loading Dock.
Works with Landlord Contacts and client Lines of Business/vendors to facilitate client event/project use of Loading Dock.
Health & Safety - Inspections
Inspects Ground Level exterior and interior common area conditions escalating any condition that may impact client enjoyment of the premises.
Inspects other areas of client on site premises on demand for the purposes of transmitting photos and updates on addressable conditions.
Other duties as assigned for specific locations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
High school plus 1 to 3 years demonstrated clerical/ mailroom work experience.
Ability to process volumes of mail and packages timely and accurately.
Ability to perform manual physical labor – walking, sorting, etc. – for a sustained period of time.
Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
Ability to operate mailroom equipment.
Basic computer proficiency to maintain records of incoming and outgoing mails and packages.
Ability to work independently, and responsibly without direct on-site supervision.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- None required
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $39,206 - $46,125 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
